Our Founder’s Journey
From the creative hubs of Barcelona and London, and onto the vibrant streets of India, my journey in jewelry has been a voyage of discovery and heartfelt connections. In Barcelona, my craft began under the guidance of Javier, a skilled artisan and owner of El Taller, which ignited a passion that London’s dynamic environment nurtured further. However, it was India that truly opened my heart and reshaped my world.
In Jaipur, I not only found a mentor in Titu but a family among the craftsmen with whom I worked. Their warmth enveloped me, drawing me into their lives—celebrating their weddings, helping me find elephants to give them a break from their “duties”, enjoying countless dinners that turned colleagues into lifelong friends. India also marked my first personal rescue of a stray dog, who unexpectedly blessed me with five puppies. Finding them homes, I experienced firsthand the profound bond between humans and animals, echoing my own mission to forge lasting impacts.
These experiences crystalized my resolve to support not just the beauty of nature through my jewelry but its welfare. Each piece I create carries this ethos:
• The Honey Ring: Linked with bee preservation efforts in Mexico, this piece symbolizes the delicate balance of ecosystems we strive to protect.
• The Coral Ring: Supporting coral reforestation in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, this ring embodies my commitment to oceanic health.
• The Indian Collection: A celebration of my time in India, proceeds from this luxurious collection aid LADLE, empowering Tulum’s children through education.
A percentage of all sales across my collections is dedicated to establishing a sanctuary for stray dogs in the Riviera Maya, turning my personal rescue story into a broader mission of compassion and care. This sanctuary aims not just to shelter but to transform lives, mirroring the transformation I underwent through my travels and connections.
